What is considered Dangerous Goods?
Dangerous Good are materials or items with hazardous properties, which if not properly controlled, present a potential hazard to human health, the environment or infrastructure.
How do I know if my product is Dangerous Goods?
The first step is to obtain a copy of the Safety Data Sheet for your product.
Next flip to the Transportation Section (Usually Section 14). You'll want to look at the details listed beside each mode of transport. If there's a UN # listed beside the mode of transport, it's DG. If it says Unregulated or Not Restricted, it is not. Still unclear? Give us a call (905) 564-2453 or e-mail info@dgcontrol.com and we'll take a look for you.
